Yurt  sizes -  custom  designed

All our yurts are custom ordered, meaning we will sit down with you and design a yurt that fits your personal needs. Doing this before winter is the best timing, as we harvest roof poles and build throughout winter, delivering your yurt to you in the spring. 


When you purchase a Bird Creek Yurt, the base price includes:
  • lattice walls (khana)
  • door frame
  • roof poles - set to a 30-40% grade to handle snow load
  • centre ring (tono) with clear vinyl cover (skylight!)
  • canvas yurt cover: walls with rot proof skirt and roof canvas with perimeter rope
  • tension cable - on which the roof poles sit
  • canvas door- wooden door is available
  • tie downs and pegs

For personal use, the most common sizes are 12ft diameter, 16ft and 20 ft. For larger families or event yurts we can discuss larger options. 


We ask for a 50% deposit before we start building. The remaining balance is due at time of delivery.
